At this time we are continuing with Phase One gathering procedure. Based on state, CDC, and Georgia Baptist recommendation, we have adopted a three step regathering plan with morning worship only. We continue in prayer to slowly opening up more of our ministries. We will continue to live-stream our services on Sundays and Wednesdays, just as we have been doing, for anyone who isn’t comfortable coming back yet.
While we are all excited to be coming back together, services are a little different. Everyone will be entering through the main doors of the church at the sanctuary. Social distancing will be in place and we will only be sitting in every other pew. Masks will be optional and will be provided if you need one. We will not be passing the plate, but will be collecting tithes and offerings in a receptacle box in the foyer. We are not ready to start back the choir yet, but we will have a praise team to help lead us in worship. Children are wanted and welcome, but for right now we will not be offering a staffed nursery or Children’s Church.
Weekly Bible Study and Prayer meets at 7pm. This is open to all who want to come and we will be observing the same precautions as our Sunday morning service. We will not be having our Youth and Children’s ministries return on Wednesday night until later in the summer.
Many of you are attending, and that is wonderful. We continue to miss being able to worship together with everyone. But the main thing remains the same! We will be coming together in the name of Jesus to worship and to study God’s Word as one in Christ. We have missed you all and look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday morning!
Romans 12:4-5 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
