  • Regathering

It’s time! We are starting live in-person services this Sunday June 7. Based on state, CDC, and Georgia Baptist recommendation, we have adopted a three step regathering plan that will begin this Sunday with morning worship only. This Sunday we will have one morning worship service at 11am and will be looking to add a second morning service in the near future. Then over next few months we will be slowly opening up more of our ministries. We will continue to live-stream our services on Sundays and Wednesdays, just as we have been doing, for anyone who isn’t comfortable coming back yet.

While we are all excited to be coming back together, the service this Sunday will be a little different. Everyone will be entering through the main doors of the church at the sanctuary. Social distancing will be in place and we will only be sitting in every other pew. Masks will be optional and will be provided if you need one.  We will not be passing the plate, but will be collecting tithes and offerings in a receptacle box in the foyer. We are not ready to start back the choir yet, but we will have a praise team to help lead us in worship. Children are wanted and welcome, but for right now we will not be offering a staffed nursery or Children’s Church.

Starting Wednesday June 10 we will be having a weekly Bible Study and Prayer meeting at 7pm. This is open to all who want to come and we will be observing the same precautions as our Sunday morning service. We will not be having our Youth and Children’s ministries return on Wednesday night until later in the summer.

We have missed being able to worship together and with all these changes it will be a little different. But the main thing remains the same! We will be coming together in the name of Jesus to worship and to study God’s Word as one in Christ. We have missed you all and look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday morning!

Romans 12:4-5 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

    In Christ,

    Bro Jason
